Hi, I’m Seungjun Chong — a full-stack developer and researcher passionate about building real-world systems that address meaningful challenges. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and am currently conducting research at the Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence & Lab (HCAIL) at Seoul National University. My work explores the intersection of artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, and system design, with the goal of creating technologies that are both innovative and impactful. My background spans robotics control software, web app architecture, and applied machine learning. I enjoy working across the stack, from backend optimization to crafting user-friendly interfaces, and I thrive on bridging design with engineering to deliver solutions that are both functional and elegant. Whether advancing research in AI or building tools that improve everyday experiences, I focus on developing systems that push the boundary between theory and practice.
